Key Stage 3
Year 7 to Year 9
In KS3 which comprises Year 7, 8 and 9, are the years that students transition from the primary setting into option decisions for their IGCSEs. This stage is vital as they adjust to a new learning environment and begin to make decisions that will shape their future education, highlighting the significance of KS3 as a ‘formative’ phase in their teenage years.
All Year 7 to Year 9 students are expected to study the following subjects all taught by specialist teachers in designated classrooms and learning areas.

- Mandarin as 2nd Language/ Foreign
- Malay as 1st Language / Foreign
- ICT
- History
- Art & Design
- Global Perspective
- Literature
- Islamic Studies (only for Islamic students)
