IGCSE EXAM
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is considered to be the most popular international certification for the end of secondary school. The exam is taken before a student proceeds to Advanced Level (A-level) or pre-university studies respectively. The duration of the programme is 2 years, commencing from Year 10 and ending with Year 11 examination which are conducted in two sessions in May/June and Oct/Nov.
Recognition
In Malaysia, the IGCSE is offered by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and is recognized by the Malaysian Ministry of Education as well as globally recognized and opens many doors for students who want to study locally or abroad.
